About this category
PV mounting structures
This category holds the structures solar panels stand on: aluminium profiles, rails, clamps, clips, fasteners and mounting accessories for rooftop and ground-mounted PV systems.
Its core is the AR2 system — a flat-roof profile, front and rear legs at 20°, rear-leg extensions, profile connectors, clips and rail clamps, end clamps for 30 mm module frames and 6.3×25 mm self-drilling screws. There is also a ready AR2 kit for a north-facing roof slope, and a 68×60 mm aluminium profile 3.35 m long.
The structure is not a minor part of a solar system. It holds the solar panels at the right angle, takes the wind and the snow, and must not damage the roof. So its type is chosen to suit the roof — flat or pitched, the direction of the slope, the covering — or the ground for a ground-mounted system, and the layout of the modules follows how they are split into strings to the inverter.
Power Design Engineering designs and builds rooftop and ground-mounted solar systems in Kardzhali, Momchilgrad and across Bulgaria — from the technical analysis and supply to the installation, grid connection and commissioning. The structure is part of the whole system, but the items in the catalogue are also supplied on their own, quoted on request.
